SPOTLIGHT: Jane Tomlinson Leeds 10K
8th July This July Yorkshire businesses are once again being asked to help raise hundreds of thousands of pounds for good causes by supporting the Jane Tomlinson Leeds 10K. Now an annual event, the race began in 2007 as part of Jane Tomlinson’s fundraising legacy after she lost her long battle with cancer in that year. Sponsored by Leeds-based law firm Clarion, the event’s Corporate Challenge gives local business people the chance to improve their fitness and provide a financial boost for a charity of their choice. Last year saw 750 runners battle it out in the name of business. The Leeds 10K Corporate Challenge is open to teams of 10 or more and includes a business networking event with a difference, to be held the week before the race.
