The founding directors, Paul and Joy Smalley, recognised that small and medium enterprises were struggling to maintain the balance between focusing on their core competencies and completing the daily financial and administrative activities required to keep their business operational.

Paul Smalley
Paul Smalley has a wealth of financial and operational experience within Blue Chip organisations. Prior to founding Paper Mountain Solutions, he was managing multiple companies on behalf of Blue Chip owners. He has in-depth knowledge and practical experience of the offshore captive insurance market, and he acted as an underwriter for a variety of sectors within the credit insurance market in London.

Joy Smalley

Joy brings valuable operational experience in project management. She has both owned and been a member of high priority projects within large UK retail organisations. In addition, Joy worked within the UK Blue Chip banking sector and has experience of working both offshore and in London headquarters of the top UK banks.
